STORY: nicola has escaped, her life, her lover, and the police. the two other characters (her lover and the policeman) are obsessed with finding her, she commands their every move. throughout the play they follow her movements with their body and copy her movements and actions as if she were their puppeteer. the characters become increasingly distraught as they become less and less agents of their own behaviour. in the end, when she leaves the set, they commit suicide/die (incapable of acting without her).

-rest head in hand on the armrest (here the two actors rather grab their head in the hands in desperation).
-nicola begins to read the newspaper, headlines are uploaded in the middle frame (i.e. "reported missing"). simultaneously, the two other actors act nervous: bite their nails, bite their lips, fidget (comme avoir un tic nerveux). they repeat nervously turn their heads towards the back/towards the front/towards the camera (towards left of screen, right, and towards audience).
