Using VirtualDub

merge each track starting with
tranana-split.01START.avi
use the apend avi segment feature
with video at "direct stream copy"
and audio at Source audio "stream 1"
merge/apend each avi segment one by one
till you get to 
tranana-split.16a.avi 	

save as AVi
